Localingua and iData Technologies to Develop Educational Material on Website and Software Localization
Localingua and its long-term partner iData Technologies, a software development and Internet business enablement firm based in Cleveland, Ohio, have started working on developing an educational piece on website/software localization for their clients. According to Mario Morelos, Localingua’s Managing Director, the goal of the project is to provide concrete solutions for clients who want to localize their websites or software products but do not know where to start. Whether a Power Point presentation or a brochure, the educational piece in question will discuss issues ranging from technical points like menu structures to marketing issues and best practices.
Localingua has an extensive experience in managing all kinds of localization projects. Localizers of the company employ the latest versions of specialized WYSIWYG editors (Dreamweaver, Front Page, ColdFusion, Expression Web), text editors (Notepad++, Microsoft Virtual Studio, UltraEdit), tag editors (Trados TagEditor, SDLX), and translation tools that support HTML/XML files (Trados SDLX, Alchemy Catalyst, Passolo).
As a strong proponent of client education, Localingua looks forward to sharing its knowledge and expertise on the topic and to developing an informative and useful resource for its current and potential clients.
